Buying Office 365 Licensing

If you are buying perpetual software licenses only without Software Assurance, the next course of action includes:

– Buy perpetual software licenses from only qualified Partners participating in the Cloud Solution Provider program by Microsoft.

– If you have perpetual licenses with software assurance, then, you will be able to use Office apps after the policy changes but not any online functions. However, this will limit the full capabilities of Office 365, including features such as Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.

If you have online services through Microsoft:

– Licenses will end on December 31, 2021. You will not be able to access and use Office 365 services that you previously had.

– If you want to continue using existing licenses or purchase future licenses, then you will need to contact a CSP Partner. They will be able to set up and handle your Office 365 licenses as they are the only source Microsoft will allow to do so.
